We, the people of India, at home and overseas, are going to celebrate Republic Day with fervour. I extend my heartfelt greetings to all of you on this National Festival.
The auspicious occasion of Republic Day gives us an opportunity to reflect on the status and direction of our country in the past, present, and future. The force of our freedom movement changed the status of our country on 15 th August, 1947. India became Independent. We became the architects of our own national destiny.
Rashtrapati ji, it is nice to know you do understand why our country got independence to form our own national destiny, while even after independence and forming the constitution there is social, economic and political injustice, for which the constitution was founded and you have taken an oath to protect, defend and preserve the constitution for social, economic and political justice while we have more than 40% of people still working for international brands, while 60% of people are still living in poverty, while our current prime minister is prime minister because of corruption in the country with no legal agreements based on which he has raised funds on the name of national prosperity, while supreme court of india is not following the constitution being able to uphold rights of citizens of the nation
Since 26 th January, 1950, we have been propelling our Republic towards our constitutional ideals. On that day, our Constitution was fully enforced. Bharat, the birthplace of democracy, was unshackled from the dominion system, and our democratic republic came into existence.
Our Constitution is the foundational document of the largest republic in world history. The ideals of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity enshrined in our Constitution define our Republic. The framers of the Constitution provided a strong bedrock for the spirit of nationalism and the unity of the country through constitutional provisions.
rashtrapati ji, the farmers you talk about are living in poverty because of you not keeping your oath to the nation, while if you have read even the constitutional fundamental rights of all the citizens, you should know how they are being violated for farmers of our nation who are feeding everyone in the country, and can not even travel their own country while the profits and resources of our country are being drained to first world nations being violation of fundamental rights or citizens and farmers. you call it strong bedrock for the spirit of nationalism while in our national capital kids are working on the streets, the only people earning well in our nation are the ones selling international products or working for international brands, i am sure it makes you proud talking about constitutional provisions.
Lauh Purush, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, unified our nation. Last year, on 31 st October, a grateful nation enthusiastically celebrated his 150th birth anniversary. Commemorative events related to his 150th Jayanti are being celebrated. These celebrations strengthen the spirit of national unity and pride among the people. From north to south and from east to west, the fabric of our ancient cultural unity was woven by our ancestors. Every effort to promote this spirit of oneness is highly commendable.
rashtrapati ji, you talk about sardar vallabhbhai patel who worked for indian independence working with peasants in gujarat against the british rule would be really happy knowing you giving a speech in his honor while people are working for other countries and people in poverty in the country are still in poverty, while he was chairman for fundamental rights and economic policy, that our country economic policy are being made to sell the country not even needing British rule to drain our country resources and profits to other nations, it is commendable that you talk about unity while national brands are being promoted, and international brands are present across the nation
rashtrapati ji you have taken an oath for protecting the constitution, for protecting social justice in the country, for protecting economic justice in the country, for protecting political justice in the country, for protecting sovereignty of our nation, we would want you to reply to the letter, or have prime minister of the country step down not being able to protect sovereignty of our country, or rashtrapati ji you should resign not able to protect the constitution you have taken oath to protect.
