we have written to rashtrapati ji for keeping his oath to the people of the country, protecting constitution of the country which talks about economical, social and political justice for all citizens of the country. should rashtrapati ji reply to the letter and protect the constitution o the country?
With utmost respect and faith in the highest constitutional authority of our nation, I write to you today on behalf of concerned citizens who are deeply worried about the prevailing conditions in our country. As the constitutional head of state and the guardian of the Constitution, you have taken an oath to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of India. It is in this spirit that I humbly bring to your attention certain urgent matters of national importance.
Our country today is facing a severe economic crisis. The value of the Indian Rupee continues to decline, affecting every household and limiting the nation’s financial sovereignty. More alarmingly, over 60% of the population is living in poverty, struggling to meet basic necessities, while approximately 40% of working individuals are employed in serving foreign economies, rather than contributing to the development and self-sufficiency of our own nation.
This situation represents a clear violation of the Preamble to our Constitution, which promises economic, social, and political justice to every citizen.
- Economic justice is compromised as inflation rises and domestic opportunities shrink, rupee value is going down
- Social justice is out of reach when Indians cannot even afford to travel their own country, and citizens of developed nations are traveling across the world.
- Political justice is being denied. We have sought transparency and accountability by filing Right to Information applications under ‘life and liberty’, requesting details of political agreements impacting national prosperity. However, these have not received any response, indicating a worrying trend of increasing political opacity and political corruption.
Furthermore, we have taken the legal route in accordance with our democratic framework by filing a writ petition and a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) in the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India. These cases, which concern matters of urgent national importance, continue to face procedural delays, violating fundamental rights of the citizens. Not having sla’s in the house of justice, obstructing timely justice for citizens of the country and undermining citizens’ faith in constitutional mechanisms.
In view of the above, we respectfully urge your office to intervene within the constitutional framework, to ensure:
- To uphold your oath taken as president of the country protecting the constitution of the country.
- Protection of the rights enshrined in the Preamble of the Constitution for social, economic and political justice for all citizens of the country.
- Having SLA’s and appropriate staffing to fulfil justice in timely manner for all citizens of the country
- Direct election commission of India to provide legal agreements for all political parties based on which they have raised funds, and stop political corruption
- Restoration of faith in democratic institutions by upholding justice in its truest sense.
We place our trust in your wisdom and constitutional authority to act in the best interest of the people and the republic.
Should raashtrapati ji reply to the letter, and protect the constitution of our country?
